    Join our Energy & Power Technologies sales team!


    UL’s Energy & Power Technologies division is looking for a motivated individual with a strong customer focus to join our inside sales team.


    The Inbound Sales Representative for the Energy & Power Technologies industry will to respond to inbound requests and sell company products to customers via telephone or electronic inquiries. Will act as part of a sales team and support professional sales staff. May sell lower-tier products, supplies, and components. May also be involved in order fulfillment, post-sales, or administrative related activities. 

    Your job will be to:

    • Review inbound inquiries and route them to the appropriate sales teams.
    • Develop and send out quotations for specified categories of leads using standardized pricing tools, and booking orders.
    • Facilitate service delivery resource allocation by entering sales contracts into databases.
    • Perform follow-up of sent quotes and turns them into orders while meeting financial commitments.
    • Communicate with customers to assist in the completion of requests.
    • Perform other duties as directed.


    This role requires strong sales, customer service and communication skills and is an opportunity to positively enhance the customer experience.

    This role is located in Research Triangle Park, NC or Northbrook, IL and reports to the Sales Support Manager.


    To succeed in this role, you should:

    • Have a Higher Secondary Education and one year of directly related experience.
    • Have a proactive nature, enjoying customer contact.
    • Have strong communication skills.
    • Have high interest in learning new IT systems and demonstrated ability to use various PC based software packages
    • Have a high sense of responsibility and commitment along with the ability to work independently.
