    This position will manage the development, delivery, and maintenance of technical training for Field Engineering globally. The position will require significant interaction and dependences within a matrix environment, relying on technical subject matter experts to define the body of knowledge for multiple technologies, industries, and product types needed for the development and delivery of technical training. Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate across cultures is required. Experience in instructional design, training development, and learning management systems is preferred.

    Responsible for managing the implementation of significant projects involving complex systems or multiple deliverables within a division/affiliate or which may be global in scope. Plans and directs program schedules and budgets. Monitors program from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with stakeholders on applicable matters. Oversees the coordination of program/project activities generally within a division/affiliate but which also may be global in scope. Assigns and monitors work of program staff.

    Responsibilities

     

    1. Establishes operational objectives and assignments and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
    2. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing programs/projects that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
    3. Regularly interacts with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions or internal/external customers.
    4. May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
    5. Performs other duties as directed.
    6. Demonstrated ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.
    7. Strong program/project management and leadership skills to manage projects utilizing personnel from multiple disciplines.
    8. Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.

    Qualifications

    University degree in Business Administration or related field plus generally ten years of directly related experience.  PMP, CSM desired
