    UL is seeking a Project Handler to join our Consumer Technologies team.


    The Project Handler manages timely completion of projects related to CB Scheme, D-Mark, UL-EU Mark, and other certifications by reviewing reports and certificates for compliance with program requirements; handles Global Market Access international certification delivery projects.

    Your job will be to:

    • Support engineers in preparing test reports for CB Scheme, D-Mark, UL-EU Certifications as well as similar reports by clarifying program requirements
    • Conduct reviews of test reports and certificates for compliance with program requirements
    • Communicate with engineers regarding issues and/or problems with reports and/or certificates
    • Create records in Certification database
    • Handle international certification delivery projects
    • Assist engineers in resolving international certification issues
    • Communicate with customers to explain regulatory and surveillance requirements
    • Integrate continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job
    • Perform other duties as directed

    This role requires strong project management skills, customer service ability, communication skills and attention to detail and is an opportunity to positively impact the UL Mission.


    This role is located in Research Triangle Park, NC or Northbrook, IL and reports to the Consumer Manager.


    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • Some University education in a related discipline plus two years related work experience.
    • Good project management skills.
    • Related work experience with International Certifications desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage priorities and handle multiple projects.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Oracle software.
    • Knowledge of CB Scheme program requirements and other International Certifications.
    • Attention to detail. 


    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship both now and in the future. 


    Applicants must be able to relocate without financial assistance.
