    The Automotive Industry is experiencing an unprecedented time of technology breakthroughs and innovation. Join the front line of UL’s Consumer Technology division as a Sales Account Executive at our Metro Detroit automotive test facility. Support auto industry OEMs and suppliers with testing and certification needs before the new models hit the road by selling the breadth of UL’s solutions. This is our NORMAL and you can make a difference in the mobility revolution!


    We are seeking an outgoing, team player who thrives on winning to join our Automotive Sales team. We’re growing and would like to hear from you! 




    • Focus on integrity, customer satisfaction, account growth, expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty.
    • Build relationships with various customer management levels, divisions, and functional departments for your book of business.
    • Provide value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting commitments.
    •  Enter and advance oppotunities/activitities in UL's CRM.
    • Respond timely and effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.
    • Perform other duties as directed.


    • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years in sales or customer facing service experience
    • Automotive industry knowledge
    • Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding quotas
    • Proficient in MS Office and experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus
    • Solutions orientated with customer focus
    • Sales Training (Herman Miller, Sandler, etc.) 
    • Effective communication skills 
    • Experience in developing proposals creating & presenting slide decks, customer agreements
    • Interest in science, new technology, and learning something new everyday
    • Knowledge of Information or wireless communication a plus
