    Responsibilities

    iON Compliance is a big data platform combining data ingest, analytics, machine learning and elements of artificial intelligence with a big data lake. iON is now looking to add a Business Analyst to our team to accelerate the growth of the most innovative UL digital technology investment in its history. Our goal is to enable the UL client base to effectively leverage the recent developments in the digital revolution, by giving them the ability to truly leverage their own corpus of data with internal core competences and win in a rapidly evolving digital eco-system.

     

    The business analyst's primary objective is to help the iON Compliance organization implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Gather intelligence from internal stakeholders and clients about needs and future growth
    • Analyzes information regarding customers, products, markets, geographies, and competitors to assist in developing new and current business requirements
    • Partner with program management and development teams to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
    • Perform user acceptance testing
    • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our applications and IT processes
    • Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment
    • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
    • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior
    • Consult with the iON core team on the newest technology and its implications in the industry

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field
    • 5+ years’ experience related to information technology and application development
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
    • Retail or Healthcare knowledge/experience a plus
