    The Pricing Manager provides pricing expertise and consultation for UL’s surveillance services in regards to pricing strategy, revenue optimization, price execution and trend analysis. Works across industries and functions to align pricing approach and tactics with go-to-market strategies. Drives price execution to maximize profitability and achievement of UL corporate goals.


    • Manages best-in-class pricing function for UL’s surveillance services by leading initiatives and developing final pricing recommendations.
    • Directs and provides strategic pricing consultation supported by quantitative, qualitative and statistical analyses to identify UL’s growth opportunities and risks through pricing.
    • Directs and works with global industry leads to establish price points for associated products, services, markets and bundled offerings and provides solutions to meet both long-term and short-term business goals.
    • Develops and achieves horizontal collaboration and consensus with industry and function leads when developing pricing strategies, guidelines and processes.
    • Develops pricing implementation plans and effectively communicates pricing strategy to UL internal stakeholders and external customers as needed.
    • Monitors the market and competitor’s pricing actions, gathers feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to improve pricing performance.
    • Reviews pricing for surveillance services with sales and operation teams to improve the pricing structure and price points to ensure profitability and growth.
    • Develops pricing audit process and mechanism that systematically generates required data and customer information for industry managers.
    • Designs standard pricing dashboards to provide industry leads with on-going pricing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Performs other duties as required.


    • University degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related discipline.
    • MBA strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in pricing and/or revenue management.
    • Proven track record of conducting profitability analysis and applying economic principles.
    • Experience with licensing pricing model a strong plus.
    • Strong communication skills, ability to present in front of business leadership.
    • Strong direct & indirect influencing/leadership skills.
    • Hands-on mentality, analytical skills and project management skills.
    • Accustomed to dealing with ambiguity and complex situations.
