  • Overview

    Under direct supervision, the Lead Development Representative is responsible for marketingthe companys products and/or services via telephone with well-qualified prospects. Thisposition identifies qualified prospects through various lead generation activities, third partydatabases, and follow-up direct mail campaigns. Directs qualified sales leads to outsideand/or inside sales team for additional communication and selling activities. Mailsmarketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industryas well as a competitive posture of the company, and enhances awareness in the targetedbusiness community of the company and its products/services.

     

    Responsibilities

    • This will be a contract role based out of our Mumbai office .
    • Conducts territory and market research using various web based tools and social media networking sites to identify potential UL customer products.
    • Coordinates lead progress by assigning leads to the appropriate les person, tracking leads through the sales cycle, and assuring leads are followed up on.
    • Follows up on leads by clarifying customer needs and intent.
    • Ensures all required information is collected from prospective customers.
    • Qualifies prospects identified through various UL marketing lead generation activities by making warm calls to them and then directing those qualified leads to the appropriate sales staff.
    • Lead generation through telecalling, emailing, social medias like linkedIn, data base research etc.

    • Person having prior experience in inside sales activities for  IT applications, software products like ERP, HRMS, EDMS, ORACLE, SAP or similar products will be preferable.
    • Exposure to selling learning solutions, content etc is also fine.
