    UL is seeking an Intern to assist the Education & Outreach team with identifying and creating internal and external communication content for various platforms, providing support with outreach opportunities, and assisting in researching and analyzing youth health, safety and environmental data.


    • Assist in developing monthly safety education content for digital channels (websites, social channels, blogs).
    • Assist in maintaining digital Education & Outreach editorial calendar.
    • Assist Digital Coordinator in interviewing, video production of UL Career Professionals to compose articles for posting on internal and external digital channels.
    • Develop strategies for social posts highlighting Youth Education outreach initiatives.
    • Assist with staffing, management, and execution at select outreach and community events.
    • Identify and support social media outreach opportunities.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to multitask.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Ability to compose communications targeted at children, parents and/or UL employees globally.
    • Ability to collect and interpret/analyze data.


    • Current undergraduate (Junior or Senior standing) or graduate student pursuing a degree in Communictaions, Marketing, or Child Education.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Proficient in photography, graphic design, and video production.
    • Familiarity with educational content resources a plus.
