Manages revenue-budget, cost-margin, headcount, policies, programs, processes, systems and staff critical to the region. Provides oversight for implementation of programs regionally or globally. Provides support in the technical interpretation of Validation and Certification operations or any issues pertaining to TS service offerings.
Oversees team operations to achieve operational goals (utilizing Lean Sigma principles and concepts). Supports and collaborates with Certification Program and Quality (ISO), as well as others such as Advisory & Education Services, Security Services, Compliance & Interoperability Services and collaborating closely with Products on to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of business objectives.

The Director CIS manages and grows testing and certification services regionally or globally. CIS ranges from single certification services, to complete outsourced customer test centers taking over all testing, certification and quality assurance of transaction products and systems. In scope for these services are banks, processors, public transport organizations, governments and other stakeholders involved in testing, certification and quality assurance of cards, terminals, mobile handsets, host systems, transit card systems, identification documents and many more.
The Director CIS is on top of the latest developments and ensures that UL is aligned accordingly. He/she is responsible for strategic focus of the team, positioning of the services and labs, and the expansion of it, as well as knowledge and expertise development within the market domain(s) of UL TS.
