Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager II assists in the management of targeted industry and service marketing activities globally. Reviews or develops marketing plans and strategies for industries and coordinates with marketers in key regions. Assists in the development and implementation of key elements of the overall UL marketing strategy, incorporating needs of domestic business units as well as coordinating with international operations.

 

  • Develop market assessments and create/implement marketing plans that achieve the right tactical mix to build the profile of UL Environment’s services, coordinating with other functions as needed.

  • Lead development of marketing plans and execute initiatives in assigned sectors. Serve as key point of contact with customers in assigned sectors to support their marketing of their UL Environment certification(s).

  • Direct social media and web content activities for industries and regions of focus with goal of optimizing UL Environment’s presence on UL.com and delivering a growing social media followers and users that engage with UL online.

  • Develop engaging content pieces via web, email, and multi-media tools for key audiences to promote UL services and initiatives and drive engagement and leads.

  • Manage public relations and communications strategy and activities for industries and regions of focus, with assistance from regional teams.

  • Work with sales funnel manager to develop lead nurture paths for campaigns leveraging Marketo marketing automation system

  • Monitor/generate campaign analytics reports and develop plans for continuous improvement of results

  • Execute marketing campaigns targeted to drive demand for UL services among key purchasing audiences.

  • Work closely with sales to directly support sales force efforts and drive revenue results

  • Coordinate with marketing teams in China, Brazil, India, Korea, Japan and ASEAN to support regional marketing campaigns

  • Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

University Degree in business administration or a related discipline plus generally six years of experience in market analysis, development of business plans, and competitive marketing strategies, some of which includes Level 5 managerial skills.
