In this highly visible role, the Business Development Director (BDD) for the Energy & Power Technologies division works with the rest of the divisional leadership team to formulate growth strategies over a 1 to 5-year time horizon. The BDD leads a team of business development professionals to execute on the divisional strategy through building organic offerings and pursuing inorganic investments. The BDD works closely with the Divisional GM to allocate investment capital to create enterprise value. The BDD works with other key stakeholders outside of the Division to manage key M&A processes.
The BDD is also responsible for the overall coordination and development of key business activities with the Energy and Power Technologies division, which includes identifying business demand drivers, creating specific service offerings, setting targets for establishing service offerings, tracking, coaching, and allocating resources to achieve these objectives.
The BDD facilitates the development and execution of targeted business sectors in key industries within assigned business unit and prioritizes this development based upon size of opportunity, strategic importance and likelihood of success to grow the company’s long-term business relationships with key global and regional customers.
