Responsibilities

Mechanical Testing Interns will participate in a learning program where they will partner with experienced testing associates and lab management teams, and learn to conduct testing on consumer products to determine conformance to industry standards and client specifications.  Interns will apply fundamental engineering principals and understanding to research, interpret, and implement testing from provided testing protocols and provide results in written and oral forms.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Evaluate products to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Research applicable test methods based on industry standards.
  • Perform testing and measurements on samples using various tools, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Interpret and compile test data to produce technical reports to support the test results.
  • Preparing technical reports.
  • Communicating with co-workers and other lab associates
  • Use organizational skills and time management skills to ensure assigned projects are completed by the specified due date.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering field, preferably Sophomore or Junior Year.
  • Proficient Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
