Under minimal supervision, creates and evaluates training materials, existing and potential training programs. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gain knowledge of training needs, and conducts and or facilitates specific functional training programs. Responsible for determining the best methods for training sessions and training materials. Reviews course evaluations,evaluates the effectiveness of the training, and assists with implementing suggestions forimprovement, and implements future training needs. Project manages the development of new training programs, or the facilitation of vendor programs. Maintains and oversees the ongoing effort of calibration of field based auditors against program, company, and client specific expectations.


  • Conducts applicable needs assessments and recommended potential solutions to meet the identified needs.
  • Determines the requirements that are needed, including the design and evaluation of training materials that are required in order to deliver successful training programs.
  • Facilitates various training and development programs for various levels of employees and functions, using a variety of learning and delivery methods.
  • Responsible for delivering instructor led training to various levels of employees and functions.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with various external training providers, vendors, universities, or other institutions. Works within the relationship to identify necessary modifications of 3rd party training materials and, or programs.
  • Provides other duties as directed.


  • University degree (Equivalent to a Bachelors degree) in Training, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field plus generally 5 years professional level experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of training, organization development and learning practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess organizational needed, administer programs, and manage projects.
  • Food Safety, Retail, Foodservice, Auditing experience is a plus.
