Under general supervision, will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships by satisfying their technical needs in a professional, expeditious and cost effective manner.


  1. Organize and coordinate assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner.
  2. Provide technical consulting service to clients. Assess food safety risks, prepare HACCP plans to meet FDA, USDA, State and local requirements.
  3. Coordinates work with the Operations team, Client Relations Management Team, and other pertinent employees.
  4. Prepare client proposals, report specifications, technical information, etc.
  5. Educate and train client employees, including hourly and salaried staff, on food safety practices.
  6. Follow up on inquiry calls; respond to specific client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  7. Schedule and complete assigned client food safety audits, primarily restaurants and grocery stores.
  8. Provide technical support to in house employees on Food Safety and fulfillment systems.
  9. Train and provide new auditors with food safety and sanitation knowledge and expectations. Demonstrate auditing methods.  
  10. Maintain up to date knowledge of regulations, industry food safety best practices, and unique local Health Department procedures and utilize that knowledge to develop new business with clients.
  11. Perform other duties as directed.


  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Science or a related disciplines plus generally three years of directly related experience 
  • Familiarity with government agencies and regulations as they apply, such as: the FDA, EPA, USDA, USP etc.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, Access, e-mail and other company Software programs (i.e. LIMS, Advantage, etc.)
  • Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients. Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
