The User Experience Designer works closely with customers and the product development team to create experiences that delight the end-user. Your job is to apply user-centered design principles to create beautiful, intuitive and engaging designs – from concept to execution. Your work will span multiple applications and devices, and include the utilization of games, behavior science, big-data and machine learning to create truly engrossing end-user experiences. The successful candidate will help define our vision for the future and be responsible for bringing it to life.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Actively participate in product feature and design discussions with our teams and our customers
  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
  • Define and understand detailed business process workflows, personas and integration touch points
  • Produce UX workflows, wireframes, detailed design mock ups, interactive prototypes and high fidelity user interfaces
  • Provide creativity and expertise on best practices and evolving trends that optimize user experience
  • Constant collaboration with product development teams to support iterative front end design and user experience enhancements
  • Foster and nurture a world class user experience design culture

Qualifications

Strong candidates for this role will have:      

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, UX or HCI
  • At least 5+ years of enterprise web and mobile application UX design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of HSML5, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with customer engagement analysis, A/B testing and optimization
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Knockout/Backbone/Angular/ Bootstrap/Material UI expertise a major plus
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Axure RP, Sketch, and Balsamic
  • Strong working knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
