To build up our European sales team we are looking for:

 

Sales Executive (m/f)

Location: Home-Office
North-Western Germany & The Netherlands


Your challenge:

Responsible things you get to do:

Grow and develop our European B2B market in the Energy & Power Technologies Division
As Sales Professional, you sell our services and facilitate testing, certification, verification, training and audits in dedicated territory – North-Western Germany & The Netherlands region. Being responsible for the territory in the European B2B market, you play a key role in identifying and developing new customer sales as well as managing customer satisfaction. To do so, you spend about 50% – 70% of your time meeting with clients such as R&D Managers or Quality Managers. Hence, your job will be to:

  • Develop and execute our “Go 2 Market” strategy in close cooperation with the rest of the commercial team, located across Europe
  • Generate added value to our clients by cross-selling UL services, contribute to market information and market intelligence in regards to market share details, business/product development opportunities, competitors or industry trends
  • Complete sales reports and keep our CRM database updated accordingly.

Work independently in an international team
You will be part of the European Energy & Power Technologies Sales Team and you collaborate with colleagues across many countries within the European sales team. The Energy & Power Technologies Division is focusing on global Product Safety requirements in various industry sectors, as Automation, Power & Controls, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energies.
You will be physically located alongside UL colleagues from different fields, however, in this role, business related collaboration might be managed remotely. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working independently and are prepared to structure your daily work tasks.

 

We are looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent to a Bachelor University degree in technical, business or a related discipline and completion of an acceptable sales training process
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible outside sales experience, including experience selling to strategic or major accounts
  • Technical mind-set, strong business/economic sales foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, sales tracking and measurement
  • Demonstrated commitment to build strong business relationships with customers
  • High sense of responsibility and commitment along with the ability to work independently – experience working in a matrix organization is an advantage
  • A person with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Working driving license (readiness to travel frequently within territory)
  • Fluency in English and German language skills
  • We expect you to proactively and continuously grow your knowledge of products and our services
