Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the implementation of significant projects involving complex systems or multiple deliverables within a retailer in global in scope.
  • Plans and directs program work schedules and budgets.
  • Monitors program from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with stakeholders on applicable matters.
  • Oversees the coordination of program/project activities generally within a division/affiliate but which also may be global in scope.
  • Assigns and monitors work of program staff.

Qualifications

Key factors for retail program manager:

  • Must have a clear understanding of engineering preferably electrical and/or distribution partners
  • Be creative in helping mold UL into new directions in the retailer space including a strong passion for change management
  • Project Management Skills
  • Passion for Digital and/or Data Services
  • Personable and seen as reliable to internal/external contacts
  • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues
  • Engineering background nice or Government Regulations, Compliance or other experience surrounding these areas
  • Electrical or Engineering degree is a plus.
