Responsibilities

 

  • Research, interpret and summarize laws and regulations and industry safety and performance standards affecting consumer products under applicable regulatory body such as CPSC, FTC etc.
  • Assist manager in providing regulatory and technical opinions to internal and external customers.
  • Independently conduct technical research and provide written or verbal summaries as applicable.
  • Develop technical and regulatory presentation material to assist in the development and training of internal and external customers.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in technical or scientific field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in research and interpretation of government regulations and industry standards applicable to consumer product.
  • Working knowledge of CPSC and FTC regulations and interpretation consistent with consumer products.
