Exciting Opportunity with Commercial and Industrial Global Finance Team!

Utilize your Project Management skills to maintain and update Commercial and Industrial service catalogs and related hierarchy data to ensure on-going compliance with corporate guidelines. Extend skillset and knowledge beyond Commercial and Industrial Business Unit to support UL’s Enterprise.

Our Ideal Candidate will have had experience with the following:

  • Experience with Oracle Applications: Bill of Materials, Development Manager, Configurator Developer & Configurator Administrator, and Inventory
  • Preferred experience with Oracle Advanced Pricing (OAP)
  • Solid writing and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Excel, SharePoint and Visio desired.
  • Knowledge of data structures.

Join our Commercial and Industrial Global Finance Team and make a difference!


The Project Specialist (PS) independently carries out complex and high-level projects to achieve stated objectives. The PS projects may include cost studies, assessments of operations, methods, and procedures, and reviews of data structures. The PS in this role collaborates with Business Unit and Operational Pricing and technical staff and also creates documentation, or updates processes and guidelines.

  • Develops and maintains documentation on Catalog guidelines and policies.
  • Develops strong expertise and applies knowledge about Catalog interaction with other R12 modules and End-to-end processes.
  • Collects data from a variety of sources, evaluates and interprets data, and draws conclusions.
  • Prepares reports or program proposals which include recommendations and supporting arguments.
  • Documents and implements processes, information systems, and performance measurement systems. Evaluates performance to standards and proposes corrective actions.
  • Participates on committees and special projects.
  • Performs needs analyses to identify areas for study or opportunities for new programs.
  • Performs other duties as directed.


Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • College degree preferred; Business or Technical.
  • Six years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and execute projects and/or programs.
  • Strong writing and collaborative skills.
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to apply rules to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Highly analytical, identifying relationships and patterns to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement efficient solutions.
  • Flexible, identifying constructive opportunities for short-term and organizational change.
