In order to conduct the conformity assessment for electronic appliances, based on NOM, NMX or IEC regulations, in the Safety, Energy Efficiency, Consumer Information and Telecom fields, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Analyze information and determine the projects scope and develop a preliminary plan for investigation of a products;
Determine the project specifications and review with our clients technical issues, providing information about procedures, standards and samples requirements to determine a completion date;
Establish appropriate test programs by reviewing client’s inputs and manufacturer's information, examining samples and applying standard requirements;
Notify our clients of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications;
Coordinate or conduct laboratory activities by preparing data sheets, scheduling and establishing completion testing dates;
In some cases, conduct witness testing in internal and/or external laboratories;
Communicate project status and results to clients through frequent contact.
Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar;
Strong knowledge about the Mexican Conformity Assessment scheme specially in NOM standards in the electronics sector NOM-001-SCFI, NOM-019-SCFI, NOM-208-SCFI, NOM-024-SCFI;
Minimum 2-3 years directly related experience of working in electronic industries with ideally experience in safety, energy efficiency and Telecom fields;
Ability to establish a good relationship with testing labs, certification Organizations, governmental agencies, etc.;
Fluent Spanish and very good English skills;
Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining project quality;
Strong communication skills, Strong customer focus, flexibility.
