JOB SUMMARY

 

UL is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented manager to lead the client onboarding process for UL’s new customer portal. The new portal will help clients collaborate with UL more efficiently while also helping them identify and access solutions to business challenges. The role will require close collaboration with enterprise clients, UL executive leadership and multiple internal project teams. A successful candidate will have extensive project management expertise, a client-focused mindset, strong presentation skills, and ability to make critical decisions that ensure program budgets and timelines are met.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In this role you will manage the overall client transition plan to onboard customers to UL’s new portal. You will work with all businesses, functions and segments across the company to ensure a successful rollout.  You will also work closely with the marketing organization to develop compelling marketing strategies and materials that will be used to promote the portal to clients around the world. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creation and execution of detailed project plan for successful 2018 rollout
  • Creation of marketing materials and campaign strategy to be approved and supported by UL’s marketing teams
  • Manage the performance of direct or indirect reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and tracking KPIs to project goals
  • Direct communication with UL clients to understand their business challenges and identify how UL can assist using digital solutions
  • Direct communication and collaboration with regional business leads in all parts of the world to assist them in introduction of new portal to their client base
  • Direct communication with UL’s Field Engineering teams to assist them in introduction of new portal to clients
  • Regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning project status, client feedback and more
  • Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Marketing preferred
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Effective and sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented with the ability to lead and delegate/assimilate tasks
  • Generally five or more years of marketing-related experience
  • Strong program/project management and leadership skills, including previous experience leading large-scale, global, company-wide initiatives
  • Ability to identify and resolve risks associated with project management
  • Ability to facilitate client meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Ability to work in and effectively navigate a matrix organization while managing direct and in-direct reports
  • Ability to establish, track and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality deliverables and exceptional client service
