What you’ll learn & achieve:

Lead, manage, and conduct the required IT due diligence across all IT Infrastructure and IT Application domains on potential acquisition targets. Document IT due diligence findings, including key issues, risks, and associated mitigation strategies. Partner with business leadership to understand key business objectives and targets and develop IT operating models for the acquisition post-deal closing. Work with internal technology staff to establish target IT architecture blueprints that enable the defined business objectives and align with UL technology standards. Develop the IT integration budget for inclusion in the deal economics, in partnership with key IT domain leads. Develop the IT integration project plan for acquisition targets, in partnership with key IT domain leads. Act as bridge between technical and business audiences during both pre-close and post close due diligence and integration activities. Manage IT post close integration work to achieve defined integration objectives. Maintain rapport and awareness of stakeholder needs. Leverage software application domain expertise in ERP, CRM and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and industry knowledge in TIC. Up to 10% domestic and international travel to visit M&A targets to assess operations. *This position qualifies for UL LLC’s employee referral policy program.*

What makes you a great fit:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or management information systems and seven (7) years of experience in IT


Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) 4 years of technology M&A experience conducting due diligence and leading business integrations; 2) experience across a diverse set of infrastructure technologies including compute and storage, network, desktop and telephony; 3) experience across a diverse set of enterprise software application domains, including ERP, CRM and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS); 4) experience managing deployment of Cisco, HP, Riverbed, Sonus, Lenovo and CheckPoint hardware; as well as Microsoft 0365, Oracle EBS, SalesForce CRM, and LabWare LIMS enterprise software; 5) experience leading cross-functional global project teams for technology integration of an acquired business; 6) experience working with non-US based global companies; and 7) industry knowledge of the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector, including working with conformity assessment bodies that provide services ranging from auditing and inspection, to testing, verification, quality assurance and certification.
