This role is hybrid based out of our Northbrook, IL office 

 

As our global footprint and customer base continue to grow, we are looking to hire a Senior HR Data Analyst with a background in Talent Acquisition & Talent Management systems to join our global HRIS team.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of HRIS & Analytics, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and updating UL Solutions HRIS System and supporting the migration to Oracle Cloud. 

 

In this role, you will be a key member of the HRIS & Analytics team and have the ability to positively influence decision-making at all levels of the organization by providing proactive, intuitive, sophisticated analytics and reporting.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a functional expert, this role will also support day-to-day system configuration needs, engage external vendors to optimize recruitment processes enabled by technology and ensure key recruitment tools support core processes with the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Develop strong working relationships with end users to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems as well as use seasoned judgment to creatively improve and automate current processes.
  • Primary point of contact for ticket/issue resolution and liaise with IT on issues that require IT intervention.
  • Create training documentation and lead regular training sessions to end users on how to utilize Oracle Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for data integrity and analyzing data trends.
  • Design and develop reports for management, business units, and HR to assess business and organizational priorities.
  • Act as a liaison with IT to continue to build on technological advances associated with HRIS.
  • Responsible for data entry and updating and maintaining HR set-ups that are used by the end users for data entry.
  • Ability to manage and process data for any data uploads, data trends etc.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Drive consistent process improvements/automation using systems where required.
  • Technically able to understand the system and able to translate business user stakeholders and IT as needed.
  • Ability to produce data dashboards as required to support senior leadership.

 

What makes you a great fit:

• University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related disciplines plus a minimum of (6) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Oracle is highly preferred. Expertise required in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel/v-look-up and pivot tables.
• Experience working with HR compliance and regulatory issues.
• Strong quantitative knowledge and experience; comfortable with assuming technical ownership of data and applying qualitative assessments of the information.
• Strong records maintenance and organizational skills required
• Knowledge of recruitment process and major HRIS Cloud systems (Oracle, Workday etc.)
• Good data management skills
