What you’ll learn & achieve:

UL Solutions Built Environment Division provides the highest level of technical knowledge, expertise and testing, inspection and certification, advisory and commissioning services to support our customers globally throughout the entire life cycle of their products and buildings. UL Solutions plays a critical role and acts as a trusted partner to various stakeholders in the built environment and building products industry by understanding buildings, building regulations and codes and requirements and by providing proactive insights on safe, secure and sustainable buildings, risk management solutions and tenant wellness and safety validations.

 

The Senior Sales Executive works on a diverse scope of activities, evaluates the data to get the right insights, works with other stakeholders and supports the development and execution of  the sales strategy within an assigned region; grow the accounts’ in-region revenue across the full suite of UL Solutions product and service offerings.

 

This role may be located in MT, ID, NV, WY, UT, AZ CO, NM near a major airport.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet annual order and revenue goals set for the territory and company
  • Be the customer choice, by presenting & creating value propositions that bring value to the customer
  • Act as the customer’s champion- act as the bridge for operations, finance, and other business units
  • Within assigned region’s buying centers, represents UL Solutions relationship with large and small accounts; identifies key decision makers.
  • Builds on customer relationships to ensure successful renewals and identify future sales opportunities.
  • Identifies opportunities and leads sales of core products / services to assigned region of customer accounts.
  • Supports other business units on large, complex, integrated solutions (often multi-product and multi-national solutions).
  • Recognizes account growth opportunities within assigned region and develops solutions for customers across UL’s Business Units (BUs) and Commercial Operating Units (COUs), teaming with specialized UL resources as needed.
  • Coordinates with local sellers (e.g., Sales Representatives) and technical sellers (e.g. Technical Inside Sales Representatives) as needed; partners or delegates sales of smaller deals or technically specialized products / services.
  • Facilitates handoffs to customer success and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Marshalls all internal resources required to execute the strategic plan (e.g., commercial resources, fulfillment operations, etc.).
  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), CRM software, and digital account planning tools.
  • 5+ years of related sales experience and/or demonstrated account management capability.
  • Past track record of meeting sales budgets consistently year over year
  • Established sales rep with the ability to make sales of testing/inspection/certification services, software products, and advisory offerings.
  • Proven ability to sell both individually and with the assistance of supporting personnel.

Total Rewards: The target annual pay range for this position is $162,000.00 which includes a base salary of $104,600.00 and 100% on target performance and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

 

Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 55% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.   

 

We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
