Our comprehensive portfolio of renewable energy solutions helps stakeholders plan, design, finance, build, invest, operate, maintain, and manage wind both on land and offshore, and solar throughout the project lifecycle and across the value chain. What you’ll learn & achieve:

We are hiring interns for the Summer of 2023!

Are you interested in a career in renewable energy? Come join the UL Sustainable Energy and Infrastructure team and learn about renewable energy projects and the digital tools data and platforms we’ve developed for the renewable industry. In the Digital Sales and Business Development team we promote and sale our digital products portfolio that help developers to assess their wind data, design and optimize their wind, solar and storage plants as well as identify potential new sites based in wind/solar resource data..

  • Participate, learn and support the global digital sales team
  • Understand how the different digital tools and platforms support the development of renewable projects
  • Collaborate internally within a multi-disciplinary team to complete various work tasks
  • Contribute to the expansion of new customers adopting our digital tools
  • Understand the sales process from lead to order in the digital renewable business
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Currently enrolled as a Senior in an undergraduate/graduate program focusing on Business related or physical sciences / engineering from an accredited University
  • Course work relevant to the wind or solar energy sector or/and in sales or business development related
  • Experience and/or interest in renewable energy industry
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Total Rewards:  The hourly range for this position is $26.25-30.25/hour.
