We are looking for a highly motivated software development intern to become involved with our renewable energy forecasting solutions. The exact work to be performed will depend on the background, skillsets, and interests of each individual, and may include front end, back end, or full stack development opportunities. Examples of potential responsibilities and activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in various stages of the software development lifecycle - including software design, coding, testing, and deployment – in support of new initiatives and improvements to mature products and services
  • Contributing to the design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of database-driven forecasting and website applications and APIs used to produce, exchange, display, analyze, and interact with renewable energy forecast data and its inputs
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and configuring web-based dashboards and system alerting tools

Throughout your work, you will contribute to the development of processes to increase work product efficiency and quality, and learn and apply company quality control standards and standard operating procedures.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Currently enrolled as a Senior in an undergraduate/graduate program focusing on software development, computer science, or engineering.  Other disciplines will be considered.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
