Chemical Insights Research Institute (CIRI), a Research Institute of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a Partnership Associate at Underwriters Laboratories, based in Marietta, GA.


The Partnership Associate will assist in development of organizational partnerships, including organizing files and documents, ideate and develop processes, conduct research, track and report findings for Chemical Insights Research Institute (CIRI), a UL Research Institute (ULRI). The Partnership Associate works closely with the Director of Strategic Education and Partnerships, external and internal stakeholders to develop opportunities for partnerships and thought leadership to further advance CIRI’s research and impact mission.

What you’ll learn & achieve:

As the Partnership Associate, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:

  • Assist in development of organizational partnerships, including organizing and logging digital files and documents; creating partnership plan; ideating and developing a process; tracking and reporting. 
  • Support execution of partnership plan and strategy that align with and activates on ULRI partnership strategy.
  • Conduct background research on potential organizational partners, evaluate and make recommendations.
  • Assist with presentations and reporting: writing content, pitching to internal/external stakeholders, and discovering opportunities for future partnerships.  
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for partnerships.
  • Analyze digital data and statistics, and present findings to the team.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Professional education and experience requirements for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business, non-profit management, health services or related field.
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience working in nonprofit, scientific or research organization, preferred.
