Underwriters Laboratories receives project samples from companies from all over world to ensure continuing compliance with the standards to which they have been tested and certified.The FUS Project Owner position is essential to the receipt, processing and reporting of the results of the testing on these FUS project samples. The FUS Project Owner works with minimal supervision and is completely familiar with all job-related processes. In addition, the FUS Project Owner understands all job processes fully with the ability to identify when something is not correctand makesthat known to leader and manager. FUS Project Owners apply varied and moderately complex clerical procedures, methods, and techniques to support business functions and processes. The FUS Project Owner consistently demonstrates that customersatisfaction is of the highest importance and makes that a daily focus.
•Manage (and delegate) correspondence requests that include requests for project status, sample status, invoicing inquires, etc. from internal and external clients
•Facilitate meetings including weekly status huddles.
•Review and offer feedback of documented team processes.
•Participate and potentially lead team improvement projects.
•Ability to administer ALL categories proficiently.
•Administer shared resource sitesto maintain relevanceand usagefor Engineering, Field Engineering and Laboratory to foster collaboration between teams.
•Generate and facilitate feedback reporting to Field Engineering to help drive improvement and partnership.
•Demonstrates leadership qualities and a desire to provide coaching and/or mentoring to others
•Entrusted to manage and procure job critical supplies for the team.
•Read and followthe Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
•Performs other duties as directed.
•High School Diploma or GED required. Some college education preferred.
•Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Strong organization skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
