What you’ll learn & achieve:

Candidate will be responsible for the processing of wire and cable follow up samples. The Melville follow up sample team processes roughly 6000 follow up sample tags per year.

 

-Candidate must be able to cross train in all aspects of the follow up sample function from log in to completion.

-Candidate must also be able to support the different types of follow up sample work streams encountered by the group on a daily basis. These work streams include :routine samples, market surveillance samples and specialty mark integrity program samples.

-Candidate must also be able to interact with engineers as part of Flex service request creation and resolution as well as interact with our principal engineers regarding market surveillance or specialty mark integrity related samples.

-Heavy use of Labware is required as well as some use of Flex.

-Candidate must be prepared to report out at standing weekly face to face or teams meetings regarding their assigned tags and their status.

-Candidate must also be able to interact directly with customers regarding sample statuses and assist in any situations involving test results / sample returns.

What makes you a great fit:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Some college education preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
