We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Coordinator at UL Standards & Engagement, based in our Ontario, Canada office. The Lead Project Coordinator will be responsible for independently planning and carrying out small to medium level projects to achieve stated objectives of the Anti-Counterfeiting Strategy and Programs for UL Standards & Engagement. The Lead Project Coordinator works closely with external service providers, vendors, and law enforcement agencies to advance the anticounterfeiting initiatives of the organization.

What you’ll learn & achieve:

As the Lead Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:

  • Coordinate logistics with internal partners, external service providers and government agencies.
  • Manage small to mid-size projects and initiatives.
  • Manage administrative and onboarding processes for service providers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Organize the development of content for educational purposes.
  • Carry out the logistics of setting up partnerships that will further strengthen the anti-counterfeiting strategy and programs.
  • Support marketing projects by reviewing content.
  • Manage event coordination, work with external event service provider, and assist with scheduling and logistics.
  • Process and manage consulting agreements, SOWs, purchase orders, requisitions, subcontracts, and invoices.
  • Assist with budget reporting, review, and expenditure tracking.
  • Manage vendor coordination and management including qualification, requalification, and profile set up.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate logistics and scheduling.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to identify and rank priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong customer service

Professional education and experience requirements for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of project or relationship management experience.
  • Familiarity with brand protection and anti-counterfeiting, preferred.
