Our Plastics Recognition Program is globally recognized and can help our customers demonstrate the safety, quality and suitability of the materials based on a specific set of third-party performance credentials. We will work with our customers to help overcome manufacturing challenges, comply with regulatory requirements and bring safer products to the global market as quickly as possible.

What you’ll learn & achieve:

  • Collaborates with Laboratory to ensure Lab Promise Dates can be met
  • Provides support to Engineering team members and assists on larger initiatives
  • Proactively works with Laboratory on upcoming complex projects
  • Adheres to project and program governance (controls)
  • Helps to manage stakeholders’ communication by providing regular status updates
  • Assists project handlers with sample management as directed
  • Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the project risks and issues and escalates accordingly
  • Plans the overall project and monitors the progress; performs daily project management throughout the program life cycle
  • Updates Engineering team members with any changes to their projects in the lab.
  • Coordinates movement of work with other labs based on capacity and capability needs
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
  • Performs other duties as directed.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presenting
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise/execute solutions in the moment
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Understand current and future business goals
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts
  • Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Excel, Visio, MS Project, etc.)
