What you’ll learn & achieve:

JOB FUNCTION

  • Ensures the quality of UL content by copy editing it to meet UL brand and style guidelines.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of brand guidelines and visual and verbal identity systems and applies knowledge to support consistent implementation of the brand, style and quality across the organization

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews content to ensures it meets UL style and brand guidelines and AP style
  • Ensures content is readable and meets UL content quality standards
  • Aids operational aspects of brand review and approval
  • Performs other tasks as required

 

What makes you a great fit:

Minimum knowledge preferred

  • Degree in journalism, marketing, communication or a related field
  • Two years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency
  • Knowledge of AP Style Guidelines

 

Minimum skills preferred

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Demonstrated copy editing skills
  • Knowledge of analytical fundamentals
  • Ability to work in a complex environment

 

Minimum abilities preferred

  • Ability to demonstrate understanding in technical & scientific format
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a wide array of marketing technology and communication tools
  • Ability to learn UL style and brand guidelines
