What you’ll learn & achieve:

As a member of the Product Compliance team, the Regulatory Specialist supports global SDS authoring and consulting services and provides transportation consulting support. This position functions as part of a global team to provide international and domestic regulatory consulting support for internal partners and external clients.

 

  • Remain current on the status of regulations (proposed and final) pertaining to Environmental, Safety, Health, and Transport (EHST) impacting chemicals for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Use Wercs Studio software to prepare Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for global clientele
  • Provide multi-modal transportation consulting services for new and existing clients
  • Perform analysis and create reports for consulting projects for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Participate in relevant team meetings
  • Prepare articles that are related to new regulatory, international or scientific developments
  • Performs additional duties as needed

What makes you a great fit:

  • University Degree (equivalent to bachelor’s degree) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related discipline 
  • Five-years' experience in chemical regulation systems preferred
  • Experience with GHS regulatory requirements
  • Experience SDS authoring and labeling requirements, multi-modal transportation regulations, and other regulatory topics
  • Consumer product regulations experience and data/project management experience a plus
