What you’ll learn & achieve:

  • Passionate about cloud, customer focused, thrive in a dynamic team culture.
  • Driven to learn about cloud infrastructure and its inter-dependencies.
  • Provide administration of Data Warehouse platforms such as Snowflake/MS SQL Server/Azure Synapse, leveraging technical expertise in all aspects of the data platform.
  • Daily maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, and user assistance required for all the cloud environments.
  • Understanding of DevOps with experience in Git versioning & source control
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Automation.
  • Understanding of containerization.
  • Setting up User and System Security for cloud
  • Strong in setting up Server-level and Database-level firewall rules for access.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • Recommends department policy by developing standards. Prepares long-range objectives and budgets. Supports change processes, policies, and standards as they relate to technology design.
  • Analyzes system needs, options, risks, costs, and impact on enterprise business process and goals.

What makes you a great fit:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 7+ years of experience in managing On Prem and Cloud application.
  • Demonstrate great analytic skills, able to independently troubleshoot application issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with a range of teams and skill sets.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience running the implementation of a cloud warehouse platform (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, SQL Server).
  • Cloud Infrastructure Automation Tools: Terraform (open source or HashiCorp)
  • Experience in Python, and Shell based scripting to automate variety of processes.
  • Experience in Migration of on-premises application to the Cloud.
  • Expertise in containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
