What you’ll learn & achieve:

The Project Manager, Team Lead plays a critical role in project and service operations. Responsibilities for this position include managing projects (percentage of time to other activities, and intensity of the client/dollar value, may vary); identify and lead special Operations/Corporate driven projects; people management; and overseeing service maintenance and quality of delivery.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise assistants, coordinators, and/or other operational team members, as required.
  • Manage projects for key accounts with high-dollar and/or high-volume projects, and work with business development to grow these accounts and increase sales.
  • Lead 1-2 larger scale Operations/Corporate projects with cross-functional team members; and/or independently oversee a process, program, or service that is critical to our business.
  • Takes projects for any market or service as needed, and proactively researches project issues and strategizes with consultants to solve them. Helps team members solve project issues.
  • Works with other departments/teams to identify and collaborate on opportunities that will develop into new business, reduce inefficiencies, and/or improve the client experience.
  • Recognizes unmet needs within the Operations team and provides support to handle those items and create/improve processes as needed.
  • Serves as a role model to team by consistently meeting PSA best practice metrics and adopting UL Corporate targets/initiatives.

MINIMUM COMPETENCY AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:            

  • Has developed a strong understanding of Emergo by UL and its services.
  • External candidates generally require a minimum of 5 years of related experience; internal candidates must demonstrate minimum of 2 years of consistent ability to meet the Major Duties and Responsibilities of this Job Description.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify needs for projects or programs, formulate objectives, plan and execute projects and/or programs, and manage programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
