What you’ll learn & achieve:

Under direct supervision, the Lead Development Representative is responsible for marketing

the companys products and/or services via telephone with well-qualified prospects. This position identifies qualified prospects through various lead generation activities, third party databases, and follow-up direct mail campaigns. Directs qualified sales leads to outside and/or inside sales team for additional communication and selling activities. Mails marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as a competitive posture of the company, and enhances awareness in the targeted business community of the company and its products/services.

 

  • Conducts territory and market research using various web based tools and social media networking sites to identify potential UL customer products.
  • Coordinates lead progress by assigning leads to the appropriate les person, tracking leads through the sales cycle, and assuring leads are followed up on.
  • Follows up on leads by clarifying customer needs and intent.
  • Ensures all required information is collected from prospective customers.
  • Qualifies prospects identified through various UL marketing lead generation activities by making warm calls to them and then directing those qualified leads to the appropriate sales staff.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

What makes you a great fit:

Higher Secondary Education and two years of directly related experience. Demonstrated ability to use various PC-based software packages for basic word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets. Strong communication skills are required.
