What you’ll learn & achieve:

Support the development and execution of sales strategy within assigned region for Global tier customer accounts in Energy & Industrial Automation sector. Grow the accounts’ in-region revenue across the full suite of UL product and service offerings.  


  • Supports Global Account Manager (GAM) in development of 3-5 year account strategy by providing insight into opportunities in their assigned region
  • Supports GAM in relationship building by identifying centers of influence within their assign region and facilitating introductions
  • Within assigned region’s buying centers, represents UL’s relationship with Global accounts; identifies key decision makers
  • Build on customer relationships to ensure successful renewals and identify future sales opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for sales of core products / services to assigned region
  • Support GAMs on large, complex, integrated solutions (often multi-product and multi-national solutions)
  • Coordinate with local sellers (e.g., Sales Representatives) and technical sellers (e.g. Technical Inside Sales Representatives) as needed; partners sales of smaller deals or technically specialized products / services
  • Leverage partnership with GAM to facilitate introductions as necessary, coordinate with Commercial Operations to drive sales plays within region
  • Facilitate handoffs to customer success and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Coordinate with all internal resources required to execute the strategic plan (e.g., commercial resources, fulfillment operations, etc.)

What makes you a great fit:

  • Established sales leader with the ability to sell testing/inspection/certification services, software products, and advisory offerings
  • 4+ years of related sales experience and/or demonstrated account management capability
  • Proven ability to sell both individually and with the assistance of supporting personnel
  • Proficient in MS Office), CRM software and digital account planning tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work/industry experience
