What you’ll learn & achieve:

Under general supervision, performs moderately complex manual tests and develops and executes automation test scripts to ensure software is working properly and to identify issues. Reports defects and partners with software teams to ensure timely resolution. Supports software teams with the implementation of software enhancements.

  • Develop effective, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts to achieve maximum code coverage
  • Ensure that automation scripts function well across all supported browsers and platforms
  • Design, develop, execute automation scripts and analyze automation test results
  • Review automated tests of peers and provide suggestions to improve the quality and efficiency of the tests
  • Participate and provide input in requirement and technical design review meetings
  • Monitor issues identified during testing and mitigate/escalate issues as necessary
  • Perform manual testing of test cases as and when needed
  • Perform other duties as directed

What makes you a great fit:

  • University degree in Quality Assurance, Computer Science, or a related discipline plus generally four years of directly related experience.
  • Experience in writing, executing, and maintenance of automated test scripts
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry standard quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices
  • Desire and ability to learn new technologies and techniques as they emerge
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a proactive approach
  • Capable of writing test utilities
  • Understanding of the development lifecycle and exposure to various SDLCs, especially Agile

“Beneficial to Have” Skills:

  • Familiarity and/or experience with Selenium
  • Familiarity and/or experience with Microsoft stack technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure
  • Familiarity and/or experience with Postman
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new concepts/technologies
