What you’ll learn & achieve:

This role is hybrid based in Northbrook, IL

 

In this role, you will manage internal and external resources within Marketing Project Management function. The Central Marketing Project Management team is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing marketing projects from beginning to end to drive efficiency, meet client deadlines and deliver a best-in-class account/customer experience. Creates and reports on project timelines and resource needs to help fuel effective and efficient collaboration and delivery. Helps define and manage review processes and engages appropriate stakeholders. Manages the briefing and information gathering process to ensure the Marketing team has appropriate inputs.

  • Manage the performance of direct or indirect reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to
  • Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
  • Develop and implement frameworks and approaches for full project lifecycle management —planning, requirements, scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, testing, quality, deployment, measurement, and changes—for cross-functional Marketing initiatives
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with business and senior leadership partners
  • Communicates requirements and assignments to various team members
  • Prioritize projects and deadlines to best meet department and client needs
  • Collaborates with other managers to lead status meetings
  • Manages forecasting and resource management
  • Regularly reviews and revises processes to improve performance and efficiency

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree) in Marketing, Arts, or related field. 
  • Generally, ten years or more of related discipline experience including five years or more of relevant management/leadership experience 
  • More than Five years of experience working with creative teams including design, copy, production, and photo/video.
  • More than years Eight years of demonstrated experience leading process improvements efforts and implementing innovative solutions to solve business problems, especially within a Project Management Office and/or internal agency model.
  • Generally, three or more years of experience using Project management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Asana, MS Project, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management processes, workflow, and terminology. PMP certification is desired.
  • Budget management and financial analysis skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong capabilities and experience working with senior leaders.
