What you’ll learn & achieve:

Conduct complex analysis of datasets to assist in areas of research, development, product enhancement or other targeted business objectives. Use advanced mathematical methods to analyze and interpret data from various sources. Use established statistical methods to determine data sources, sample sizes and appropriate methods to create and interpret reports. Transform complex data into creative graphs, tables, charts and other graphics in order to present and share the data in a comprehensive and concise manner. Lead cross functional teams to develop dashboards and analytics and ad-hoc reports to support business needs and initiatives leveraging experience in the safety testing industry, as well as various analytics and BI technologies. Act as a mentor and resource for colleagues with less experience. *This position qualifies for UL LLC’s employee referral policy program.*

What makes you a great fit:

Master’s degree in predictive analytics or related and three (3) years of experience in data analysis


Must have each of the following: 1) experience in the safety testing industry; 2) experience automating reports and conduct analytics using Python and SQL; 3) experience with Business Intelligence projects using Power BI, DAX, Hyperion, and OBIEE; and 4) graduate coursework or project experience with Kaggle.
