We have an exciting opportunity for a Standards Engineer Intern at Underwriters Laboratories.
Interns with the UL Standards and Engagement (ULS) Engineering Team will work together to solve real-world challenges that impact standards, sometimes spurring innovations that introduce new standards or standard solutions. The UL Standards Engineering team is charged with advancing the scientific and technical rigor of UL Standards and standard solutions. As an intern, you will work with UL Standards engineers to apply basic engineering skills and hazard-based safety engineering principles to strengthen our standards and standard solutions. In this role, you will collaborate across the UL Standards organization as well as with our partners across the Underwriters Laboratories enterprise to implement this complementary approach to safety standards development.
