DESCRIPTION
UL is investing in its own digital transformation leveraging cloud solutions and services. The company has recently increased the investment in Salesforce to standardize across the global sales organization. Utilizing industry and market knowledge of design and architecture, the individual would be required to design, review, and execute technology flow for customized applications at UL. The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Architect is responsible for the creation and execution of an application implementation strategy focused Sales, Quoting & Marketing solutions, as well as Field Service Lightning and other functionality on the Salesforce platform. The core of the strategy involves the design and construction of an optimized architecture that promotes performance, scalability, ease of support, service reuse and security while delivering business value through an accelerated application system development life-cycle.
The Salesforce Architect is responsible for the end-to-end platform architecture that enables UL’s digital business, including the overall solution design and delivery of global, multi-channel solutions that directly align with the needs of UL's digital strategy. They will be tasked with translating business requirements into specific end-to-end application solutions. This includes working with UL thought leaders to understand the underlying business architecture and provide oversight over identification of functional requirements, creation of an appropriate technical design, construction activities, testing and deployment tasks.
The SFDC Architect is expected to have experience designing across multiple systems which may include Salesforce Sales, Service, Commerce Cloud, web applications, web services, system integration, data strategy, and reporting services.
