What you’ll learn & achieve:

Works independently under minimal guidance to support the sale of UL software products as directed by account managers as the subject matter expert for all aspects of UL software solutions, assist with pre-sale solution design, and ensure a smooth transition to deployment.

▪ Is aware of the broader strategy for software product sales, based on high level of software product knowledge and frequent interactions with customers and account management teams
▪ Supports primary sellers in relationship building, lending technical credibility with customer buyers
▪ Works hands-on with customers pre-sale to gather solution requirements and demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices
▪ Works independently on product demonstrations and provide reassurance that the software product will work effectively and deliver ROI in the customer’s environment
▪ Interfaces with technical customer personnel to communicate value of solution in detail
▪ Delivers technical presentations of offerings to customers and prospects
▪ Assists with configuration design based upon customer requirements and existing IT systems
▪ Tests and integrates software products in customer environments to effectively serve customer needs
▪ Provides pre-sales support as a subject matter expert to the sales team and for pre-qualified opportunities
▪ Works with account teams, provide new perspectives to existing solutions to existing customers and Account Executives to demonstrate value of UL software products to prospective customers
▪ Leverages technical knowledge to partner with sellers to drive overall solution win
▪ Supports hand-off to software customer success resources to ensure adoption

What makes you a great fit:

Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in software engineering or related field
▪ Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
▪ Relevant technical capabilities in software engineering and design architecture
▪ 6+ years of related experience
▪ Deep knowledge and experience with assigned specialty software products / services
▪ Business acumen and understanding of business sales processes
