What you’ll learn & achieve:

The Person In This Role Wil Be Responsible For


  • Steering daily operations and cross – SL escalations
  • Running Business Health and Forecast Meetings
  • Leading teams in building plans to achieve business result gaps, particularly when shortfalls arise
  • Establishing and monitoring key business KPIs and metrics
  • Point person for Emergo integration plans within Emergo and within Product Lifecycle – system, process, and acquisition
  • Developing recommendations for operating model improvements
  • Develop and oversee programs/projects that support initiatives to make operational improvements that link back to Emergo/PLC strategy
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for process improvement and portfolio prioritization and strategic alignment.  This includes:
  • Establishing and governing prioritization and evaluation criteria / requirements
  • Developing processes that will allow Emergo to focus on the core projects and new solutions that are needed to achieve the strategy
  • Evaluation and potential sunset of solutions that are no longer viable based upon the collected data. 
  • Leads a team of 25-30 global project managers responsible for project management activities within the P&L and ensures alignment of the process and procedures with those defined by PLC.
  • Responsible for resource / capacity planning for projects within the P&L and cross service lines
  • Leading escalated / sensitive legal / contract issues
  • Leading / coordinating internal Emergo Quarterly Business Operational Plan Reviews
  • Internal division-wide communications
  • Support in creation of overall Emergo operational strategy and run key initiatives in Emergo or cross division to implement strategy.
  • Knowledgeable in medical device regulatory trends and updates
