What you’ll learn & achieve:

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of the Company’s financial statements. The role provides exposure and development in U.S. GAAP and SEC rules. This is a high-profile position with interactions and dependencies with corporate accounting, business leads, legal team and executive management.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Coordinate all aspects of the preparation of financial reports, including U.S. GAAP financial statements and disclosures, MD&A and other SEC reporting requirements within established filing requirements.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting and the integrity and compliance of all financial reporting, controls, processes and systems
  • Review and ensure application of appropriate controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures
  • Play a key role in managing the external audit processes and maintaining effective relationships with external auditors
  • Coordinates work relating to any internal audit reviews and is responsible for the timely implementation of agreed upon recommendations
  • Excellent project management skills
  • May provide work direction to other employees
  • Performs other duties as directed.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business degree with accounting or finance concentration or MBA with finance concentration.
  • CPA is required
  • 6+ years of related accounting or finance experience, of which at least 3 years of external financial reporting practice
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance and SEC reporting
  • Strong knowledge in Wdesk
  • Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 Lease is strongly preferred
  • Experience in SEC filings via EDGAR and XBRL is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
