What you’ll learn & achieve:

The Business/Industry Technical Advisory Intern (EHS Advisory Intern) position is responsible for supporting internal functions with subject matter expertise for environmental, safety and health content solutions. This role works closely with the Senior EHS Advisor and the Library Project Manager to ensure the highest quality UL Safety Catalog of e-Learning courses.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:


  • In collaboration with the Library Project Manager, ensure that the UL Safety Catalog offering accurately reflects current Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and imagery. 
  • In collaboration with the Senior EHS Advisor, support our OSHA authorized provider status by addressing user questions, addressing OSHA inquires, etc.
  • As needed, contribute to marketing development efforts and activities, such as content campaigns, webinars, white papers, blogs, etc. 
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external client expectations.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Awareness of EHS Regulations as relates to the UL Safety Catalog offering.
  • Previous internships or employment in a manufacturing and constructions is a plus
  • Experience in a role or situation that required analytical, quantitative and problem-solving responsibilities.
  • Understanding of the regulations, principles and best practices that guide and demand a customer’s safety training needs
  • Able to work with a variety of projects at different stages in development at the same time.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, remote environment– overcommunicate, react quickly and think on feet, be creative and understand what is needed to independently complete assigned tasks.
  • Must be working towards a bachelor’s degree, and course work related to EHS is required.
  • Must obtain or hold current Safety Certifications as deemed necessary by UL.
