What you’ll learn & achieve:

Working within UL’s Global Business Services (GBS), this position is responsible for strong collaboration and communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely settlement in the processing of vendor invoices within a Shared Service Center (SSC) team environment.

 

KEY RESULTS AND GOALS:

  • Assigned tasks executed completely, accurately, on-time and in accordance with process documentation.
  • Meets or exceeds key performance indicators goals.
  • Processing problems, issues, and opportunities to improve are identified and escalated to Supervisors timely.
  • Team building is actively fostered.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executes assigned AP processing tasks efficiently, accurately and timely
  • Proactively identifies and communicates issues as they arise and maintains open lines of communication with colleagues and management
  • Monitors and meets deadlines in a consistent manner
  • Focus on stakeholder management and engagement to ensure inquiries, issues, and service requests are remediated timely and in accordance with established SLA’s
  • Assists with compliance, reporting, audits and special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • Preferred previous related work experience in a Shared Service Center environment.
  • Detail oriented and maintain high levels of accuracy for high volumes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Dependable with strong organizational skills
  • Self-Motivated individual able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Preferred knowledge of the Account Payable process and systems (Oracle)
  • Experience working with an Imaging system a plus
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills
