What you’ll learn & achieve:

Lead and oversee the development of interoperability services. Oversee IoT operations for North America. Manage a regional team of operations leaders, technical experts and administrative staff. Oversee certification of Bluetooth products and set up of Bluetooth qualifications test facilities. Develop business operational plans and strategies. Oversee customer service and delivery of projects and programs for assigned area of responsibility. Provide technical guidance on WiFi, Bluetooth and Zigbee products to team and customers. Responsible for the operational strategies, financial results, staffing and action plans for business unit. Supervises 50 employees. 50% national and international travel to UL offices and conferences. *This position qualifies for UL LLC’s employee referral policy program.*

What makes you a great fit:

Master’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related and 3 years of experience in business development within wireless interoperability field


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related and 7 years of experience in  business development within wireless interoperability field


Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) ISO 17025; 2) experience with wireless technologies, including WiFi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee; 3) experience certifying Bluetooth products and setting up Bluetooth qualification test facilities; 4) experience with wireless/EMC certification schemes such as FCC; AND 5) global team leadership experience.
