What you’ll learn & achieve:

 

The I&I Regulatory Specialist provides expert knowledge of regulatory issues and requirements. Mentors and trains junior regulatory staff. Interfaces with upper management to provide consultation on global regulatory requirements.

  • Remaining current on the status of regulations (proposed and final) pertaining to Environmental, Safety, Health and Transport (EHST) impacting chemicals for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Develop procedures for routine review of the regulatory and advisory information to keep information up to date in regulatory products and services for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Verify and document sources of information included in the Product Compliance content products (LOLI Database and Navigator) for assigned areas of responsibility.  This includes analysis of the source and the preparation of written information.
  • Audit and update data for assigned areas of responsibility as necessary.
  • Review and analyze database and literature sources for inclusion of new content in the Product Compliance content products (LOLI Database and Navigator) for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Perform analysis and create reports for consulting projects for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in relevant team meetings.
  • Prepare articles for the blog that are related to new regulatory, international or scientific developments.

What makes you a great fit:

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related disciplines plus generally three to five years of experience in Regulatory, Product Stewardship or EHS with an emphasis on international hazard communication preferred.
  • Expert in global and GHS regulatory requirements, transportation and hazardous waste regulations is preferred.
  • Native level language fluency in Russian and a very high level of fluency in English is required. Must be able to read, write, and speak in technical industry terminology.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Candidate may be located anywhere and work remotely as necessary.
