As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a Lab Analyst to join our team in Fairfax, VA!


As a Lab Analyst you will Performs chemical analyses of environmental samples utilizing spectroscopic and colorimetric methodologies.

What you’ll learn & achieve:


  • Analysis of air samples using the following instrumental techniques:
    • Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry – Volatile Organic Compounds
    • High Performance Liquid Chromatography - Aldehydes
  • Analysis of water samples using the following instrumental techniques:
    • Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy – Trace metals
    • Ion Chromatography - Anions
    • AutoTitrator – Physical parameters
  • Responsible for daily operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of above listed systems.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and laboratory records in a manner consistent the requirements of ISO 17025:2005.
  • Carry out daily/weekly laboratory housekeeping duties.
  • Use necessary software to manage data generated from field samples.
  • Generate reports of sample results.
  • Adhere to all established health and safety guidelines and safe laboratory practices.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in the sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.)
  • At least 1-year experience working in a lab environment or applicable experience from education
  • Knowledge of Basic Laboratory Safety
  • Firm understanding of GC-MS, HPLC, IC, ICP-MS techniques and instrumentation
  • Technical and Mathematical Aptitude
  • Strong Organizational Skills/Detail Oriented
  • Computer Literacy
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
